Goldstrike Hot Springs / Colorado River

Goldstrike Hot Springs' hike is one of my favorite hikes in the Las Vegas area. The trailhead is located roughly 45 minutes from The Strip heading towards the Hoover Dam. The hike consists of rock scrambling, fixed ropes, hot springs, the Colorado River and more. Bring lots of water and a lunch to eat once down by the Colorado River.

One of the many ropes used to aide climbing. Make sure to test pull the ropes before climbing up or down.

Sometimes the water is low enough to walk to different areas. Keep an eye on water levels in case they release water from the dam.

I took this shot hopping on different rocks to get to the center of the river.. only to find out they released water from the dam and my trail back to shore met with me having to walk thru the water.
