Feed The Brain

How is the brain being fed? What kind of diet is it being fed? Does it make your spirit feel positive or negative? I try to pay attention to my environment and the type of information that I'm downloading into my brain. I surround myself with people that motivate and encourage me to do more, to do better. You could imagine what it would be like if I surrounded myself with the opposite.

I'll pick and choose what to listen or read. Take in what I want and let go what I don't need. Information coming in could be from various sources: friends, family, teachers, social media, news, music, tv, podcasts, forums, etc. That information plays an important role on how I live my life, my thought process, my decision making. That information could be true or false, pointless or helpful, hurtful or uplifting.

Something I hear could encourage me to do something I would have never thought of doing. Like having a deep conversation with a friend and getting the courage to start a business. Or seeing a burger ad on TV and going out to buy a burger.

Pay attention! Don't get brain washed. Brain wash your own brain. Our senses are pulling in so much information. Pay attention to the information it's pulling in. Surround yourself with the right people. Get rid of the stress in your environment. Feed the brain the right diet it needs to live a more positive life, a better life.
